A piece just done for the September issue of regular gig Restaurant magazine.

It's about the sale of the Wagamama chain to the US. Uncle Sam slurping on his ramen. ebi katsu, miso soup and green tea on the table.

Draw Serge -L'Homme A Tête De Chou


My (first!?) contribution to the talented Jonathan Edwards marvellous blog DrawSerge, a showcase for artistic interpretations of the late great M. Serge Gainsbourg.

Here I've chosen to eschew a caricature of the legend and gone instead for an interpretation of one of his many incarnations, l'homme a tête de chou - the cabbage-headed man. Moitié legume, moitié mec - half vegetable and half geezer!
