Nude (revised)
A young lady at her toilet.
I've changed this slightly - pinker lips and nips and less off-putting off-setting.
Better, no?

Restaurant magazine - May 2009
A piece I've just done for the May issue of regular client Restaurant magazine.
Another piece about the current financial climate, and in particular, how Restaurant companies brought their colossal debts upon themselves taking foolish, greedy risks during the boom times.
I'm very happy with this, especially the character - its fun to draw the same person in different poses without getting too precious about it.

Illustration Friday - "Impossibility"
A couple of expressions, from either side of the Channel, meaning more or less the same thing, the impossible or extremely unlikely.
Of course, the building is that Thames-side Behemoth, the Battersea Power Station - a cheap and oblique reference to Pink Floyd.

Illustration Friday - "Talisman"
St Kit, who, according to legend, was a Canaanite 12 cubits (18 ft) tall and with a fearsome face.
He holds patronage of things related to travel and travelers ( including cyclists): against lightning; against pestilence; archers; bachelors; boatmen; bookbinders; epilepsy; floods; fruit dealers; fullers; gardeners; for a holy death; mariners; market carriers; motorists and drivers; sailors; storms; surfers; toothache; and transportation workers.

Monday Artday - The Old West
A late ( but just in!) entry for last week's Monday Artday. The theme was the Old West. I've shown some gnarly ole prospector, at the end of a hard day, down to his underwear, having a coffee, cooking his beans and thinking 'bout what tomorrow might bring.
