Nude (revised)

A young lady at her toilet.

I've changed this slightly - pinker lips and nips and less off-putting off-setting.

Better, no?

Lonesome Norwegian

This lonesome Norwegian fellow puffs upon his briar and comtemplates the weight of snow upon his saplings.
"Don't worry, my emerald-needled little friend," chuckles our Lars "your boughs are very bouncy and spring-y!"

Notebook Numero 129

New notebook, the Twelfthty-ninth in this succession, christened this after-noon.

Like the way the dip-penned ink has bled.

Restaurant magazine - May 2009

A piece I've just done for the May issue of regular client Restaurant magazine.

Another piece about the current financial climate, and in particular, how Restaurant companies brought their colossal debts upon themselves taking foolish, greedy risks during the boom times.

I'm very happy with this, especially the character - its fun to draw the same person in different poses without getting too precious about it.

Daily Mail - Gardening - Watering Can

A piece for the Saturday 9th May issue of the Daily Mail's Weekend magazine Gardening pages.

Things are bursting forth now, make sure they're getting plenty of water!

Illustration Friday - "Theatre"

The most famous theatre of all time, Shalespeare's Globe.

The line below the image, "Within this wooden O..", is from the prologue of Henry V.

I do like a bit of Shakespeare, me.

Au Printemps

Voyez la jolie Marie, heureuse et legere comme la plume d'un oiseau! Le printemps est arrivé. La vie est belle!
